Taking local politics personally
Politics touches people everywhere and always – there are more than enough reasons to take it personally. The best place to do this is right where people are most affected, in your own neighborhood.
Tell Carsten Spallek, Deputy Mayor of Berlin-Mitte, and Sylvia Ganz, District Councilor, about what moves you, what makes your community special, and what changes you would like to see from politics. They want to talk about the positive aspects of community life, as well as opportunities for political improvement, suggestions, and concerns.
What motivates people to take politics "personally"? The Education Forum in Berlin creates opportunities for people to connect with one another – and the chance to raise political concerns directly with political representatives.
Chat over snacks and drinks!
Participation (including snacks and drinks) is free.
Organizer:
The Education Forum in Berlin is the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's forum in the capital for dialogue between politics, business, academia, and society.
