His raspy, deep-toned voice is unmistakable – once heard, it stays with you. For many years, he was a regular vocal partner of Bettina Wegner at the Distel; at this concert, she will join him for a guest appearance, performing several of her songs.

Troyke loves old chansons and folk songs, yet his programs are firmly rooted in the present. He collects songs orally – such as the "forgotten Yiddish songs" of Sara Bialas-Tenenberg – interprets cabaret chansons, writes new songs, and creates impressive adaptations. He masterfully blends the grotesque and the melancholic, always finding his way to his themes through humor.
El Alemán will once again be on guitar – an outstanding instrumentalist and songwriter who will enrich the program with his own compositions.
