Musikfest Berlin
The Kanze Nō Theater Company from Tokyo is performing at the Musikfest Berlin. With Kiyokazu Kanze, the 26th Grand Master of the Kanze School, in the lead role, the company presents three works of classical Nō theater, which originated about 700 years ago and is considered one of the oldest forms of theater in the world.

Kaki Yamabushi (The Persimmon Thief), Kyōgen comedy (Anonymous, ca. 14th/15th century)
Shakkyō (The Stone Bridge), Noh drama in abridged form (Han-Noh) (Anonymous, ca. 14th/15th century)
