In her practice, humour serves as an artistic tool to question, subvert, and reimagine dominant cultural narratives. By interacting with the audience, she creates moments of liberation where serious themes such as selective empathy, politics, war, displacement, and the fragility and contradictions of human existence are confronted. Their playful use of language and seemingly absurd premises invite laughter and thus open up a space in which shared responsibility can be reconsidered.
