JENSEITS VON NELKEN UND PRALINEN

Festival: 

The festival JENSEITS VON NELKEN UND PRALINEN provides a stage for female artists from different countries who use their art to question social structures, highlight feminist perspectives and stand for solidarity, diversity and empowerment.

In 2026, acts from Slovenia, Romania and Spain/Morocco, among others, will be part of the programme. There will be a special focus on the Balkan region, whose artistic perspectives are often underrepresented in public discourse and receive far too little attention in the European cultural landscape.


Themes such as origin, language, age and identities shape our entire festival programme – diversity is visible on stage. We are convinced that the festival fits very well with Berlin and a diverse, urban audience, both thematically and culturally, especially in the context of Women's Day.
