Change is never easy. Moving to a distant place, however, is a disaster for Emilia. How will she cope at a new school without friends? Especially in a place that doesn't even have a proper town center and is surrounded only by forests and mountains.

The journey to her new home begins snowy and full of adventure, and mother and daughter find themselves stranded in a place that seems otherworldly. Sometimes, a seemingly misfortune turns into the greatest blessing, and together with the residents of this magical Christmas village, Emilia manages to regain her confidence and experiences many adventures along the way.
