Ikkimel & Friends at the IFA Summer Garden 2026

Following BUNT. and Luciano, IFA is thus announcing the third musical act as part of the trade show. After her acclaimed performance in 2025, Berlin-based artist Ikkimel returns to the trade show grounds with her high-energy mix of trap and techno.

German rap meets IFA: Pop culture and technology belong together

In 2026, the IFA Summer Garden will once again showcase what makes the IFA special: innovation meets pop culture. While technologies from around the world are presented in the exhibition halls, an open-air experience for families, young music fans, and all visitors takes shape outside. In doing so, IFA underscores its ambition to be not only a hotspot for digital trends and technologies, but also a stage for the music culture of the next generation and a place where technology, entertainment, and lifestyle converge. Together with a rotating lineup of artists, IFA brings the festival vibe to the exhibition grounds and embodies the energy and cultural relevance that define Gen Z and Gen Alpha today.

With our open-air format, we’re creating an energetic experience that brings technology and culture together and appeals especially to the younger generation. The Sommergarten attracts people to IFA who wouldn’t otherwise visit the trade show: around 50 percent of Sommergarten visitors also check out IFA. We’re thrilled that Ikkimel & Friends are back on the Sommergarten open-air stage,” says Leif Lindner, CEO of IFA Management GmbH.

Successful Sommergarten concept to continue

Following the successes of 2024 and 2025, with over 45,000 visitors in total and performances by Bryan Adams, the 6PM Festival, Deine Cousine, EVIL JARED x KROGI, Berlin newcomers Sorvina, as well as Danilo Timm & Anne West and many more, IFA will continue to host concerts in the Summer Garden in 2026.
