For the sixth time, the İÇ İÇE Festival invites music enthusiasts from a wide variety of communities to celebrate the sounds and culture of the Anatolian region together.

As the name İÇ İÇE suggests – Turkish for ‘intertwined’ or ‘interwoven’ – genre boundaries are overcome through a diverse music and cultural programme, bringing together people from different diasporas.
An exciting programme is being put together for visitors that goes far beyond music and includes performances, workshops, readings and discussion panels dedicated to topics such as multiple affiliations, solidarity, racism and empowerment.
The events serve as a platform for raising awareness of the concerns of the diaspora and for essential cultural dialogue. Behind the İÇ İÇE Festival is a dedicated festival team made up mostly of queer and migrant people.
