The Struggle of Felix Fechenbach
Felix Fechenbach began fighting for social justice at the age of 17. Alongside Kurt Eisner, he sparked a revolution in Bavaria in 1918. In the Weimar Republic, Fechenbach became a well-known journalist, but also worked as a puppeteer and author.
His fearless performance in the election campaign against Hitler in the small region of Lippe made him one of the main enemies of the Nazis.
The production sheds light on the life story of this charismatic, now almost forgotten German-Jewish personality and uses it to question the present day.
- Duration 75 minutes
