Reflexes & Reflections: 7 October, the war in Gaza and the debate in Germany

The German-language premiere of “House”, directed by Amos Gitai, is based on his documentary film trilogy (1980, 1998, 2005) about a house in West Jerusalem and the people who have lived there, Palestinians and Israelis.

The story of the haunted House is a metaphor and microcosm at the same time.
Actors and musicians come from Israel, Palestine, Iran and France. They speak and sing in Hebrew, Arabic, English, French, Yiddish, Armenian and Turkish. T
his human microcosmos attempts to outline a dialogue as well as the conflict, while voicing the archaeology of memories.
