Discussion series in cooperation with the Leibniz Center for Contemporary History Potsdam
Hardly any other question of contemporary history is currently attracting as much public attention as the dispute over the Hohenzollern legacy.
It is about the historical responsibility of the family for the rise of National Socialism, disputed property issues, but also about how we remember Prussian-German history and what place the defunct monarchy can have in the historical image of a united Germany.
In four panel discussions, experts from academia, museums and politics will attempt to provide answers to these questions. The discussion series is a cooperation between the Leibniz Center for Contemporary History Potsdam and the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg in conjunction with the Brandenburg Ministry of Science, Research and Culture.
