Formed under the illustrious names Howlin' Pelle (vocals), Nicholaus Arson (guitar), Vigilante Carlstroem (guitar), Dr. Matt Destruction (bass), and Chris Dangerous (drums), they launched in 1997 with their debut album, Barely Legal, and toured Sweden for the first time.

They achieved their international breakthrough with Veni Vidi Vicious (2000) and the hit single "Hate to Say I Told You So." This was followed by albums such as Tyrannosaurus Hives (2004), the experimental The Black and White Album (2007) with Pharrell Williams and Timbaland, and Lex Hives (2012), which returned to their raw roots. After an eleven-year hiatus, they returned in 2023 with The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons – which debuted at number 1 in the Swedish charts.

Their iconic black-and-white look, their punk attitude, and their unmistakable sense of humor remain. They've been impressing live audiences for decades – whether on sold-out tours or shows with the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Foo Fighters.

The next highlight will follow in 2025: the new album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives, produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt with support from Mike D (Beastie Boys) and Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age). To celebrate, they'll embark on a world tour – including a concert in Berlin. Get your tickets now!
