GOOD COMPANY The central final exhibition of the weißensee kunsthochschule berlin – specialising in sculpture and painting – in cooperation with the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie will transform the Wilhelm Hallen into a centre for young art from 18 to 27 July.
With their sculptural, audiovisual and painterly positions, the graduates question their relationship to community, identity and responsibility in the field of tension between social, political and ecological challenges.
What does it mean today to be part of a ‘good society’?
Whether personal, associative or analytical, together the artistic positions form a polyphonic panorama of contemporary art. Between intuitive gesture, formal rigour and conceptual positioning, pictorial spaces, objects and installations unfold.
An ambitious programme of panel discussions, guided tours, readings and workshops frames the exhibition.
