In the intimate setting of a trio, Grandma’s Ashes paints a portrait of Parisian daily life marked by violence and insensitivity. Purified by the raw energy of live rock, the three Young women forge a connection with their audience through explosive performances that defy convention.
After releasing an EP in 2021 and their first album in 2023, the band continues to blend powerful riffs with crystalline vocals, expressing the ambivalent emotions of an inner odyssey.
Their poetic lyrics carry the feminist and eco-anxious voice of a generation plagued by doubt, sounding the alarm on the rapid erosion of our rights and our planet.
Grandma’s Ashes has played hundreds of shows across France - including iconic venues such as La Maroquinerie and Le Trabendo in Paris - as well as major festivals like Hellfest, Motocultor, and Francofolies. They’ve also toured extensively in Spain, performing in a dozen clubs across the country. In spring 2026, the band will set out on their first tour inGermany, Austria, Belgium, and Switzerland.
Their second album, BRUXISM, released on October 24, continues their quest for experimentation and creative freedom. Infused with shades of new wave and grunge, the
new tracks are built by experience of the stage - driven by urgency, energy, and a desire to amplify their fierce, committed message.
