TELEPHONE TOUR
This audio tour explores life after arrival in 1945: the experience of scarcity, life in makeshift conditions, and the xenophobia that locals directed toward the refugees and displaced persons.
How did 12.5 million survivors of flight and displacement build a new life and a new home under these conditions? And did it matter whether one was in West or East Germany?
Participation: free of charge, from home – by phone
