Annual closing concert and reception of the Ukrainian Institute in Germany
Join us for a festive evening with the Mriya Orchestra, pianist Kateryna-Sofia Shyk, and violist Kateryna Suprun. The program features works by Ukrainian composers Borys Lyatoshynskyi and Zoltán Almashi, including the world premiere of Almashi's piece "Seasons" for viola and orchestra, which he dedicated to Kateryna Suprun and composed specifically for the Ukrainian Institute in Germany.
Since its founding three years ago, the Ukrainian Institute has achieved a great deal: It promotes Ukrainian literature, music, science, and art within the German cultural scene and society, connecting cultural professionals from Ukraine and Germany. Furthermore, the Ukrainian Institute collaborates closely with established and new European partner institutions on key cultural policy issues.
