Frizz Feick, singer and songwriter, has lived and worked on the North Frisian island of Pellworm since 2019. His music is refined German-language singer-songwriter pop with subtle jazz elements.

Delicately poetic or ironic lyrics are his trademark, and his distinctive voice is striking. He is regarded as a harmony-savvy composer and a sensitive observer who avoids clichés and platitudes.

Over the past four years, he has released four EPs; in 2025, on his own indie label ReetPoet, he released the singles “Fährmann” and “Da wo selten wer hinkommt.” Feick calls his current live program “Songs vom, zum und am Meer” (“Songs from, to, and by the Sea”). He sings about respect for the tides, the sense of shelter offered by a beach chair in strong winds, or one of the most beautiful sounds on the planet: the squabbling of oystercatchers at 4:30 a.m., with the window open. Or about sheep in the rain. And about love and heartfelt passion. But also about John, Paul, Ringo, George—and him.
