„Zieh Dich aus Petronella“ is not just a song by Tucholsky from the 1920s, but a call to reflect on the past 100 years of human history through the legendary distorted mirror of cabaret.

You can expect melodies by Hollaender, Reuter, and Waldoff, texts by Mühsam, Tucholsky, Ringelnatz, as well as couplets by Philip Krückemeier, aka Heinrich Werner—a dazzlingly colorful cabaret circus, finely balanced and interpreted by Friederike Ziegler (actress) and musically arranged and mixed on piano and violin by Dietlind-Maria Stropahl.

The project was funded by the Fonds Darstellende Künste with resources from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media within the framework of NEUSTART KULTUR, and by the Society for the Exploitation of Ancillary Copyrights.
