FRANK MUSCHALLE & STEPHAN HOLSTEIN

He has performed throughout Europe, Paraguay, Bolivia, the USA, and North Africa. After 11 years of classical piano lessons, Muschalle discovered boogie-woogie at the age of 19. From then on, he devoted himself exclusively to studying this music.


Stephan Holstein is one of Europe's leading saxophonists and clarinetists. He began his career at the age of 13 in jazz clubs in and around Munich. In 1995, he received the Bavarian State Prize for Jazz Clarinetism. Today, he is active in numerous national and international bands and projects. His stylistic range extends from the music of Django Reinhart and his own classical trio project to contemporary jazz projects.
