Lecture by Meinhard Schröder
Growing up in a wealthy family in Tsarist Russia, Vladimir Lindenberg narrowly escaped being shot during the revolution and fled to Germany.
He spent four years in a concentration camp. From 1949 to 1959, he worked as a doctor specializing in brain injuries. In addition to his private practice, he then expanded his activities as a spiritual teacher, author and artist. But he kept a dark secret.
in 2004, part of his estate came to the museum: books, tapestries embroidered by Lindenberg himself, photos, furniture and other small objects.
With these exhibits, Lindenberg's study could be authentically recreated in the museum - with his desk, the bookcase and the sitting area where he received patients and guests.
