Film screening and discussion

Multi-peRSPEKTif is a project at the Bunker Valentin memorial site in Bremen. Young people explore traces of Nazi forced labour and relate them to current issues of identity, racism and sexism.

The film "The Lion is Telling the Story of the Forest" (2024) will be shown, which accompanies a "Multi-peRSPEKTif" workshop: the participants deal with forbidden relationships between Germans and prisoners of war or forced labourers and exchange ideas with contemporary witness Gerd A. Meyer.

In the subsequent panel discussion, Gerd A. Meyer and project participants discuss the importance of multi-perspectivity in today's remembrance work.
