Akira Schroth • Objekttheater

I like sunflowers. Sunflowers are my favorite flowers. When I arrived in Germany 35 years ago, I was always tired. I got the hot tip that it might be due to a lack of sun and that I should put cut flowers, like sunflowers, in my room. Because of their psychosomatic effect.

You gave me the hot tip, Sunny.

Later, I stayed here in Lichtenhagen and started working for a friend in a flower shop. Overall, being surrounded by cut flowers is good for me psychosomatically. And when it's sunflower season, I still think of you every now and then.

I flew with you, Sunny.

Lately, it's been really hot sometimes, the sun is blazing. On days like that, I wonder what it would be like if I could fly to your weather station on Sylt. Maybe it's cooler there because of the wind.
