For the first time in Berlin: Argentinian violinist Guillermo Rubino, winner of the 25th Latin GRAMMY Award and instructor at the Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce, is a guest at Nou Tango Berlin.
In the final concert of his three-day master class, Rubino presents an ensemble of professional European musicians who have intensively studied the art of tango. Many of them are members of renowned tango ensembles and bring their individual musical style to this special project.
The program spans a range from traditional tango to Astor Piazzolla's Nuevo Tango, Argentinian folklore, and contemporary compositions. An evening full of rhythm, emotion, and virtuosity – in which classical and modern elements resonate with new brilliance on the string instruments.
