A piece developed by Katharina Bill and DT Jung*

The director and activist Katharina Bill has already staged the successful play development Im Spiegelsaal in the Box and in her new production, together with performers, is devoting herself to the topic of violence. Together they explore both acted and real violence, as well as its media representation.

From a feminist perspective, they shed light on how patriarchal violence is expressed in fighting stereotypes and examine the fascination of fighting - be it in the boxing ring, in gaming, in the theater or in the real fights that take place in this society.

In Fighten, nine fighters of different ages, with different bodies and biographies enter the ring together and prepare to defend their individual beliefs. They wrestle, duel and defend themselves, kick, box and battle. They push themselves to the limit, fall, get up again, give up and keep fighting.
