For two decades, the Festival Orchester Berlin - a multicultural ensemble of musicians:innen leading European sound bodies - has been fascinating with a repertoire that is as sensitive as it is lively, which ranges from baroque splendor to Viennese classical to romanticism and is always enriched by musical rarities.

In this concert, the ensemble dedicates itself to the Venetian grandmaster Antonio Vivaldi, whose iconic "Four Seasons" - four interconnected violin concertos from the year 1725 - as a timeless masterpiece accompany nature, animals and humans with artistic sound language through spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The program is complemented by other highlights of the chamber orchestra literature, played on historic Italian instruments, which impressively emphasize the characteristic, radiant sound of the ensemble.

  • Antonio Vivaldi: The Four Seasons op. 8 no. 1 – 4 as well as works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
