Inspired by the exhibition “Heavy Fabric,” you’ll embark on a creative journey through the world of extraordinary garments. What stories do they tell, and what stories does your favorite piece of clothing tell? Using sketches, fabrics, and plenty of imagination, you’ll create a book of fabric stories.
You’ll invent patterns, craft costumes, and step into new roles. Old clothes will be transformed into something new—in a playful, experimental way, and with lots of patience. Feel free to bring old clothes with you.
- Three-day summer workshop: July 22–24, 2026 / Wednesday through Friday / 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- For children ages 9 to 12.
