Excursion to the “Old Egg House”

Once one of Berlin's most popular day-trip destinations, the Alte Eierhäuschen in Plänterwald is now awakening to new life after a long slumber. Together with the Ei-12437-B restaurant, the KULTURspreePARK e.V. association, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2024, is launching a new event series in October 2025.


On the first Sunday of every month, the Alte Eierhäuschen becomes a lively meeting place for culture, encounters, and a true Berlin attitude. In the afternoon, lively old Berlin songs invite you to sing along – in the tradition of Claire Waldoff and other icons of the 1920s. A musical coffee klatsch with heart, humor, and Berlin flair.


The early evening features readings and stories full of wit, depth, and emotion. In between, there's time for a stroll along the Spree, nature experiences in Plänterwald, or a visit to the exhibition curated by Art Space.


This creates a day full of music, literature, art, and a coffee-house atmosphere – a feast for body and soul. The series is deliberately designed to be cross-generational, building on the association's long-standing work in Spreepark and simultaneously opening a new chapter in Berlin's urban culture – alongside inclusive projects and encounters that bring people together.
