Europe Blues Train Festival Meets Jazz@Centre Bagatelle

Three outstanding acts will deliver a real live energy: the Petra Ernyei Duo with sophisticated vocal jazz, the Mauer Blues Trio with a mix ranging from Latin to hard bop, and the explosive Rag Doll, who invite you on a journey back to the Roaring Twenties. An evening full of energy, emotion, and musical freedom—for everyone who wants to not just hear jazz, but feel it.

PETRA ERNYEI DUO

The extraordinary singer Petra Ernyei and guitarist Adam Tvrdý are a well-established duo. Petra Ernyei’s gentle vocals and Adam Tvrdý’s sensitive accompaniment transport listeners to a world of jazz, their own compositions, and Jewish songs. Petra Ernyei previously performed at the Centre Bagatelle in 2023.

MAUER BLUES TRIO

The MAUER BLUES ensemble performs compositions from Carlos Mieres’ album of the same name, “Mauer Blues,” as well as from the Kučera album “Take a Heart.” Backed by Corinna Reich on piano, their sound grooves stylistically between jazz and world music, hard bop, Latin, soulful ballads, and forays into modal jazz.

RAG DOLL

Rag Doll—already familiar faces on the Blues Train—take the audience on a journey back to the golden age of ragtime, boogie-woogie, Harlem stride, and barrelhouse. The spark ignites immediately, and they transform every stage into a magnificent old juke joint in the American South of the 1920s. Come listen, swing, and dance until the air is electric. Welcome to the Roaring Twenties!
