With confidence and ease, the Lüül Duo manages to balance depth and humor, everyday madness and moving moments.
Accompanied by Kerstin Kaernbach on exotic instruments such as the theremin and musical saw, Lüül's songs unfold a whimsical charm.
"Rotatonics" – (Carsten Wegener and Marie-Elsa Drelon) play cinematic chanson & tango. They love unusual instruments and unusual arrangements.
"!Mensch, Monique!" – former "The Beez" singer Jule Schröder and guitarist Georg Saßnowski enchant with wonderfully arranged covers and original pieces.
"The Wildfires" – Simon & Garfunkel meet with Emmylou Harris at Dolly Parton's house, where Paul Weller is attempting to break in.
The folk duo features London singer/songwriter Paul Benin and Tennessee singer Elisabeth Carlton.
The Duonale brings a diverse, unique, and exciting line-up to the stage, and you can look forward to an entertaining and diverse evening. From Americana to authentic, self-penned songs and chansons to quirky compositions by Nino Rota.
