Cancer Foundation Berlin

The DSO Community Orchestra will perform on February 22, 2026, in the large broadcasting hall of rbb in support of the “Family Time” project of the Berlin Cancer Society. Under the baton of Heinz Radzischewski and with Helena Madoka Berg on violin, listeners can enjoy Gerhardt Müller-Goldboom's “per trentadue archi” and Max Bruch's “Scottish Fantasy” for

violin and orchestra, as well as Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5.

At this year's concert in aid of the Krebsstiftung Berlin, listeners in the rbb's large broadcasting hall will have the opportunity to support the important work of the cancer foundation while enjoying classical music.

The DSO Community Orchestra:

The DSO Community Orchestra regularly supports the work of the Berlin Cancer Foundation through concerts. The ensemble is led by Heinz Radzischewski, former
deputy principal trumpeter of the DSO, who also founded it. Concerts in Berlin and guest performances demonstrate the high standard of their joint work.
