The themed tours "Double Exposed" offer insights into the working worlds of the depicted industrial sectors as well as their effects.

During a dialogical tour with contemporary witnesses, the focus is on the one hand on the depicted working world in industrial photography and on the other hand on the working worlds of women, the effects of industry on the environment and on labor struggles. The presented promises of progress from the post-war and reconstruction period to today's discussions about social and ecological justice will be considered together.

Field reports and perspectives from the contemporary witness complement the presentation of the selected exhibition objects and place both in the context of current political and social debates. This "double exposure" of the photographs addresses the question of what stagings of progress are promised in the depictions, and what the reality was like.
