Theater Lingulino

At Christmas time, some people feel the urge – not only for tradition’s sake – to “do something for the heart,” meaning, for the stomach. But what happens when the goose doesn’t come from the freezer, but arrives alive, and the future diners gradually fall in love with her?

Actress Claudia Maria Franck, the goose Auguste (hand puppet), and Berlin saxophonist Uwe Dohnt together tell Friedrich Wolf’s cheerful Christmas story — for children and grandparents, fathers, sisters, mothers, brothers, and all other goose lovers (but not for foxes!).

Based on a story by Friedrich Wolf
