The IMPROVISIONÄRE
With their charm, wit and experience, the Improvisionäre are perhaps the most modest – and at the same time most original – improvisational theatre group in the world. Since their founding in 2010 by actors Vera Schmidt and Marc C. Behrens, they have been thrilling audiences in Berlin and throughout Germany. Theatre becomes true democracy here: the audience decides what will be performed – and even the theme of the next performance.
More than just theatre
The Improvisionäre are not only active on stage, but are also involved in integration projects and cultural education, give seminars on communication and team building, and are constantly developing new forms of theatre.
Other members are: Jacob Methner, Doreen Wermelskirchen, Lena Milde, Ole Xylander, CD Geier and Nikolaus Sternfeld.
