Novoflot | Start Bus tour
The fifth season continues! After a promising summer overture, the Berlin opera company Novoflot is now officially launching its first carnival season! It all begins at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. There, in the plaza in front of the Volksbühne theater, Novoflot's shuttle bus will stop and take the audience directly to the opening of Berlin's first carnival stronghold!
At this (still secret) location, the very idea of carnival will be reimagined. The question of all questions will be posed: What is truth?! In times of constant disinformation and an incessant flood of 8 billion opinions per day, Novoflot's fifth season will become an artistic voice.
Here, they aim to achieve what is currently impossible anywhere else: a return to a future with an idea of truth that societies can agree upon in order to finally be political again. And artistic. And exuberant. And in solidarity. And more musical than ever before.
A co-production with the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, the Greek National Opera, Citykirche Zürich, Kölner Philharmonie, and others.
