DIAL-IN TOUR

To mark the anniversary, the Berlin Foundation for Flight, Expulsion, Reconciliation examines the flight and expulsion of approximately 14 million Germans from the eastern Reich and Eastern European settlement areas. They were forced to leave their homeland under extreme conditions.

The tour takes you via telephone into the permanent exhibition and describes selected objects that vividly illustrate the fates of individuals and families. It explores experiences of flight and expulsion and the path to an uncertain future.

This year's focus is on the special exhibition "The Trek - Photographs of an Escape 1945," which focuses on Hanns Tschira's photographic documentation of his escape from the Silesian village of Lübchen.
