Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy, once at home on Dublin's streets and in small clubs, has become one of the most distinctive voices of his generation in just a few years. Now, the multi-platinum-selling musician is announcing his biggest headlining tour to date – and will be coming to Berlin for a concert in May 2026.
On stage, Kennedy impressively demonstrates why he touches so many people worldwide: His concerts thrive on a direct, unvarnished presence that requires no elaborate staging and yet fills entire arenas. After more intimate European performances, his own MISNEACH festival, and various collaborations, he's opening a new chapter in 2026 – with fan favorites and, for the first time, new material.
From early songwriting awards and more than four billion Spotify streams to Ireland's best-selling debut album of the century ("Without Fear"), Kennedy has developed a style that blends folk influences with contemporary soundscapes. With his second album, "Sonder" (2022), and the introspective EP "I've Told the Trees Everything" (2024), he further refined his distinctive sound.
He will be accompanied by the Irish folk band Amble in 2026.
