Inspired by Liv Strömquist's cult graphic novel, the play uses wit and incisiveness to show how deeply patriarchal structures shape our image of femininity. It takes the audience on a journey from antiquity to the present day, holds a mirror up to society – and invites them to a very special birthday celebration.
