Interpreting Industrial Heritage through graphic design and printing by hand
The streets of Pfefferberg are winding and the architecture is diverse, making it the ideal setting for a creative linocut workshop. Red and yellow brick buildings alternate with modern façades. A beer garden, restaurants, exhibitions and a theatre invite you to linger.

Linolschnitt-Workshop
In this linocut workshop, the architecture and history of Pfefferberg serve as the starting point for participants’ own prints. They use the area’s distinctive details and structures to develop a design, cut it into linoleum and print it by hand. The workshop combines industrial heritage, architecture and creative work. No prior experience is required.
The former brewery site is named after Joseph Pfeffer. In 1841, he founded one of the first breweries in Prenzlauer Berg. From 1922 onwards, chocolate, bread and newspapers were produced here.
