“monster” explores how self-empowerment is possible without reproducing sexualized behaviors—and what it means to act, think, and feel precisely within this tension. What does anger taste like, where does it sit, and what exactly does it look like? giuliana piel x romina geppert are a contemporary dance duo who have been collaborating on stage performances and dance video productions since 2021. Their movement language is minimalistic and repetitive, characterized by impulsive accents and flow.

The chaos of inner contradictions. Setting boundaries and losing boundaries. Outside or inside. Must or want. A physical journey through the jumble of one’s own layers. Romina Geppert is a contemporary dancer and choreographer from Berlin. Shaped by urban influences, contemporary technique, and a love of improvisation, she develops a movement language that is both physically intense and sensitive. As a dancer, she performs in contemporary dance pieces as well as video and film productions. As a choreographer, she works on contemporary stage productions, dance theater, and theater.
