The powerful and nuanced tango sound of the German-Argentine tango quartet Nochero draws from the rich musical heritage of traditional Argentine tango. The arrangements and compositions, originally written for Nochero by bandoneonist Peter Reil, lend this tango group its distinctive and captivating tango language.

Cuarteto Nochero feat. Catalina Soiphie
Nochero was formed in Berlin in 2023 with tango musicians who have been performing on international tango stages for over 20 years. Since 2024, Nochero has been delighting audiences throughout Germany in concert halls, at milongas, and at tango festivals.
Nochero has been collaborating with the wonderful Argentine tango singer Catalina Sophie Gabriel since 2024. In 2025, they recorded the CD "cantar…siempre cantar" together in Berlin.
