In this workshop, participants will explore printmaking as a form of trace and touch. They will experiment with various relief-based techniques, including stamp printing and simple methods of surface treatment using linoleum plates, foam rubber, or other materials.

Cutting and embossing create printing blocks that bear not images, but textures. Through pressure, the surface is transferred to the paper, leaving subtle traces of resistance, depth, and rhythm.

This results in subtle works on paper in which the focus is not on the motif, but on the memory of the material. Small sheets that can be collected, passed on, or remain as fragile traces of a process.
