The Creative Bureaucracy Festival brings together over 2,000 participants from public administration, politics, and civil society each year to discuss innovative ideas in the public sector and celebrate administrative talent from around the world.
On June 11, 2026, the festival returns to Berlin for its ninth edition. Dedicated creative bureaucrats, visionary minds, and bold changemakers from Germany and internationally are expected to attend, ready to rethink the processes, principles, and practices of public institutions. Information on tickets, speakers, and the 2026 program will be published soon.
At the 2025 festival, established and emerging creative minds from the public sector met on four stages and in five workshop rooms. In 90 sessions, over 200 speakers from more than 30 countries shared practical approaches, forward-looking ideas, and tools for modern public administration. Topics ranged from state reform and cultural change to data-driven decision-making.
