Where does the construction industry stand on the path toward resource-efficient and low-emission planning and construction? The Construction Industry Transformation Barometer 2025/26 is the first joint tool developed by the Federal Foundation Bauakademie in collaboration with the industry’s key associations and chambers to systematically track the transformation of the construction industry in Germany.

The cooperation partners are the Federal Chamber of Architects (BAK), the Federal Chamber of Engineers (BIngK), the Federal Association of Building Materials – Stones and Earth (BBS), the Main Association of the German Construction Industry (HDB), the Central Association of the German Construction Trade (ZDB), and the Central Association of German Crafts (ZDH).
The Construction Industry Transformation Barometer 2025/26 documents the current state of affairs, compiles practical experience, and provides transparency regarding the challenges along the construction value chain.
