Under the title "The city as a field of research", retired professor Dr. Rolf Lindner and museum director Dr. Matthias Henkel will talk about the cultural and scientific exploration of urban spaces.

As one of the most renowned representatives of cultural anthropological urban research, Lindner has described the city as a place of experience, foreignness and creativity in numerous studies and publications - and thus opened up the urban world as a rewarding and important field of research for European ethnology at a very early stage.
