The centerpiece of the program is Camille Saint-Saëns' moving Oratorio de Noël, a work of lyrical depth and romantic splendor that musically recounts the Christmas story through delicate choral and solo passages.
This year, the work will be presented in a new, larger-scale orchestral arrangement by Patrick Orlich, which lends the piece a symphonic character and was created specifically for the Studio Choir's concerts.
As a special highlight, traditional Polish Kolędy – festive Christmas carols – will also be performed. Their folkloric color and heartfelt piety will broaden the musical horizons and provide a contrast to the main work of the evening.
The founder of the StudioChor, Eddy Rhein, has also arranged Christmas carols, which are sung together with the audience to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
They invite you to join us for a festive evening filled with musical diversity, emotional depth, and a truly Christmassy atmosphere.
They look forward to welcoming you to a festive evening filled with musical diversity, emotional depth, and a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.
