But how does a rocket propulsion system actually work? What does a rocket need to rise into the air against gravity?
In this workshop, you can find out exactly that using small, homemade water rockets. Of course, your creations will be tested right away on the lawn in front of the observatory. Rocket fun guaranteed!
Accompanying adults do not need a ticket unless they wish to actively participate in the workshop.
Please bring an empty and rinsed 1.5-liter PET returnable bottle for crafting. The bottle should be round and have a mouth diameter of 2.15 cm.
You’ll then test how far your models fly during the flying competition!
