In the exhibition "Suddenly Wonderful" with the architect Ludwig Heimbach, the architectural historian Katharina Deppisch and Nils Philippi, scientific trainee of the architecture collection

In exhibitions and currently in a book publication, the architect Ludwig Heimbach is dealing with the “Mouse Bunker” by G+M Hänska and the Hygiene Institute by Fehling+Gogel, both planned as scientific buildings for the Free University of Berlin in Lichterfelde.

He will talk about the two buildings with the architectural historian Katharina Deppisch and Nils Philippi, scientific trainee in the architecture collection of the Berlinische Galerie: What do the two completely opposite architectures have in common, how do they relate to each other? What fascinates an architect today about the brutalist duo of the 1970s and what does it say about Berlin at the time?
