The Brandenburg Chamber Orchestra Berlin (BKO) is an ambitious amateur string orchestra founded in 1977 by members of the Collegium Musicum of the Berlin Universities.


With approximately 25 to 30 dedicated musicians, the ensemble is dedicated to interpreting works from the Baroque to the music of the 20th century.

  • Daniel Skála (*1981) Concerto for Cymbal and String Orchestra (partial world premiere)
  • Gyulia Beliczay (1835–1893) Serenade for Strings, Op. 36
  • Franz Liszt (1811–1886) Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, arrangement for string orchestra by Wolf Péter
