A concert featuring Delta blues, hokum, and spirituals, whose roots lie deep in the Mississippi Delta of the 1920s and 1930s. Music that is intense, raw, and fast-paced, yet also relaxed and soulful. A journey through time featuring songs by legends such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Son House, and Blind Willie Johnson, as well as original material within this genre rich in tradition.

Bottleneck John
For three decades, Bottleneck John has been touring extensively throughout Scandinavia and Europe, from the Norwegian Lofoten Islands in the north to Tropea in southern Italy. He has also performed in the U.S. and the birthplace of the blues around the Mississippi, with appearances at clubs and festivals, including the legendary King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, Arkansas!! Joining him on this tour is bassist Anders Sköldqvist on the resonator bass.
