How can politicians best understand what the independent arts scene does and how Berlin benefits from it? We need you, right there in your constituencies.
Under the motto "Independent Scene Meets Politics," FAIRSTAGE invites members of the independent performing arts to meet their candidates for the Berlin House of Representatives in the coming months.
For these meetings, they will prepare each other and with external support during a "bootcamp" to develop compelling arguments. In three intensive hours, they will learn how to pitch their work to politicians, participate in live interview simulations, and research which representatives belong to their respective constituencies. No prior knowledge is necessary.
FAIRSTAGE, in collaboration with various partners, offers professional development opportunities for theater professionals. The project proactively supports inter-theater institutions in their organizational development and also provides open workshops for the industry.
